Some Solid Mexico

Over the last few days we've been getting some decent size waves here at Mex pipe, hovering round the 8ft mark with the occassional bomb set. Crowds thinned out though, guess everyone ran up the point where it was smaller.... 

Mexico Update

Surf finally picked up and peaked yesterday with the odd 6ft bomb coming through, crowds are pretty hectic and i think most mornings i will be sticking to shooting rather than surfing. Went out this morning but the swell has backed off to around 2-3ft again. Here's a few pics from yesterday...

Well by the looks of things it could be small here for a while, the period of the swell is suppose to get better but by the looks of it the swell doesnt seem to be in the rise till next thursday!! so gay!

Mex update

Been in Puerto a few days now and so far its only got to around 3ft! so freaking small, looks like it may pick up this weekend and into next week. Fingers crossed...

A Day in LA

It's nearly 2am in LA, waiting for our flight to Mexico City which leaves at 6:45... but apparently we have to be there 3hrs beforehand!! anyways just had a sick day in LA, all started with a smooth exit out of LAX before heading to our Holiday Inn less than a few minutes away. We all chipped in some coin and got a limo tour, with shitloads of free alcohol... sooo fun! I had the impression LA was going to be shit boring, nope.. let the good times roll yeww. O and yeah Damo, even though you couldnt make it we brought you along for the ride cause we though you might like it haha. 

Surf, Rest and... no more work

Today i have officially resigned from working and boy does it feel good! picked up a new Pride, Sam Bennett board today, and packing readily awaiting my flight to LA 1pm Sunday. 

No more stress, No more worries, so much surf to be had. Not very often i manage to go on holidays twice a year, let alone a 3 weeks trip to Indo followed by a 6 week trip to Mexico... then what looks like a stinky hot summer in Aust. when i get back.... could this be my endless summer?

Bali down, next stop Mexico

Back at work this week, got back from Bali Sat morning feeling super tired after getting no sleep that day or through the night on the plane. Didn't manage to get many waves or shoot any for that matter, but it was super relaxing and nice and warm. Been at work for 2 days and already over it. 

Off to Mexico this Sunday, doesn't look like much swell there at the moment but i'm sure over the 6 weeks i'm there i should be getting some big barrels and a few pics. 

Been pretty slack with this whole blog thingy but hopefully if we have wireless over in Mex i can keep it updated with stories and some pics...
