Next stop Bali

Well there are only 2 more working days till i head to Bali, cannot wait to not don a suit everyday and just chil, shoot and surf. I think i've had my bag packed for the past week or so adding to it every now and again with little bits n peices.... but i think now its all done! yeww stoked on holidays once again! i'm hoping this year it doesnt get cut short by some dam horse n cart!!

Friday heading to "I Wouldn't Normally Produce a Film" then up to Sydney in the wee hours of the morning to wait for my flight yewww good times ahead!

Monday Morning..

Monday morning goodness.

Tuesday morning flatness...

... as always the swell arrived with the start of a new working week which meant a quick 30min session before it was time to head to work, spewing. Managed to snap off a few pictures on my way home.

I think over the last two weeks i've managed to rack up around 3 half hour sessions! It sucks so bad and its making me wish my holiday would hurry up and come already! At the same time i guess im stoked i actually get to surf before work (even if it is half hr and freezing) as its sooooo worth it and i still managed to snaffle plenty of barrels in my grom wave obsessed mode yeww!

This morning the swell had dropped off and the winds have shifted but instead of heading back to bed i creeped around the rocks to watch the sunrise and take a few pictures, its such an amazing time of the day... and hopefully i dont take it for granted and become a sloth anytime soon.

Where are the waves???

Woke up early to find waves lapping on the shore... so drove down the coast to find it exactly the same! lets hope it picks up soon!

WAVES!!!

Well looks like we have a solid E swell on our hand down here and pretty much perfect winds are on offer all over the coast... hmm where to go... decisions decisions. Picked up my new lens Friday and hopefully by tomorrow night i'll have some sweet images to post. Don't think i will be getting much sleep tonight as this much hyped swell has got me all edgy and hyped up... lets hope it doesn't disappoint or a forget a camera battery or something like that!! eek!!

Macro

Well recently i've been looking to get into some macro photography for something to shoot when there is much doing in the wave department. Really haven't had much practice as yet, but i'll put up a few and everyone can let me know what they think. What makes a good macro shot? I wouldn't have a clue haha maybe its detail.. creativity?

First blog and i'm struggling on how it should begin... well i guess i started up this blog thingy as i guess a stepping stone to eventually setting up a website for my photography one day, until then i guess this will serve as a good way to gain feedback and to put out ideas... and just random thoughts (i.e. blogs haha).
